Romance in the desert. These things go together hand in hand! I absolutely love shooting weddings in Phoenix Arizona!

Desert Romance. This is a wedding theme that I had on my mind for quite some time. Arizona has practically become our second home and  I wanted to combine the dreamy yet cinematic landscape that I love, with one of my favorite designers, Rue de Seine to create a sumptuous and ethereal look. A lot of what I shoot tends to be on the softer, pastel side and with this session I really wanted to highlight the beauty and power of the sun and landscape.

Lately, we see a lot of creatives that focus heavily on details, arrangements and table settings. All of those details are so beautiful, but I think it’s important to occasionally step back and focus on the simplicity of the scenery and your subjects.. The rich colors and flora really dramatize and set the tone for this session.

I was privileged to work with the amazing Lyia of The Bridal Boutique in Calgary who provided us with the stunning Zeppelin gown by Rue de Seine. This dress’s soft, sheer look, combined with the flowing sleeves and intricate detailing offer the perfect balance of boho and sophistication. I truly love how this design is so versatile!
