Scottish Wedding at Silver Springs Golf Course

We absolutely loved being the Calgary wedding photographers for this Scorrtish wedding at Silver Springs Golf Course! Kim and Neil were friends for a while before they started dating. They met through mutual friends playing on a flag football team. They didn’t start dating until 3 years later when Neil surprised Kim by asking her out for what she thought was just a night out with friends! She realized about halfway through it was a date, and the rest is history!

Their Scottish wedding was absolutely stunning. I loved how connected to their families they were. It was truly a special day surrounded by 140 of their closest family and friends. Their wedding combined beautiful Scottish elements such as tartan, along with navy and silver which together with the location and weather, was a perfect welcome to fall. My favorite part of the day was all of the giggles during our formals. Despite the chilly weather they were troopers and had no problem keeping each other warm with lots of cuddles and kisses!

Neil handmade a guest bench for all of the guests to sign which was so beautiful. The golf bags filled with flowers put together by Kim’s brother’s girlfriend Sydney and her mom Shannon were so special and meaningful as well.
