Spruce Meadows Wedding

Roxana and Dan are a lovely couple! Once I arrived in the morning you could tell the emotion in the air was palpable. They had so many family and friends with them from the moment they got ready and well into the evening – they were absolutely surrounded by love their entire day. My favorite moment of the day was both Roxana and Dan’s reactions to seeing each other for the first time walking down the isle. Dan was absolutely floored, with good reason!

We after our stroll through downtown Calgary for their formal photos (which included a lot (!) of kissing of the lovebirds) we headed to Spruce Meadows for their reception. The venue and decor was absolutely stunning and inviting. You could tell that so much work and effort went into making everything absolutely perfect, and the room just glowed with love and happiness. The speeches were so emotional and heartfelt. I’m not going to lie, my heart strings were tugged and my eyes were watering.

There were beautiful, emotional first dances followed by what I can only describe as an amazing party! I have shot a lot of weddings and never have I seen so many people dancing at once!
