Blue and Gold Fairmont Banff Springs Wedding
This blue and gold Fairmont Banff Springs Wedding is one of my favourites to date. As Calgary and Banff Wedding Photographers, we have so many couples get married at this iconic hotel every year. We love to see the unique take each couple has and how they transform this venue for their vision. Moments by Madeleine beautifully designed and planned this blue, black and gold modern day at Fairmont Banff Springs. We love the black goblets and hints of gold along with the black tapered candles.

“Blair and Jonn first reached out to me to plan their extravagant wedding production at the historical Fairmont Palliser Hotel. Spring 2021 quickly approached and we realized their original wedding plans would not be possible that year. We bought ourselves some more time and postponed their celebration to the fall and these two groom’s saw the opportunity to replan their wedding as a more intimate celebration in the mountains at the Banff Springs Hotel, one of their favourite weekend away destinations. They wanted their wedding to be a beautiful balance between masculine and feminine energy, so we complemented their lush white florals with black and gold accents throughout their tablescape. A deep blue watercolour pattern was hidden throughout their stationery and modern wedding cake.Their more intimate guest list didn’t stop their group from celebrating, the dance floor was full all night with sparklers going off around the dance floor, under the crystal chandelier.”
Blair and John are one of those couples that just exude love. You can literally feel it in the room when they are together. They balance each other perfectly. John, calm, cool, collected, and Blair, bubbly and exuberant!
We romped around the hotel for hours and I could have photographed this wedding for days. One of my favourite aspects was the royal suite where they got ready. It was our first time in this beautiful and historic room.
The sparkler dance was breathtaking and I could have stayed to party the entire night! I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for this wonderful couple.
