Jadis and Simon are a stunning couple. What more can I say? Being a Calgary wedding photographer is so much fun but when I have the chance to shoot at the Fairmont Banff and Lake Louise, I get really excited! I am so thrilled to share this sneak peek into their wedding day last weekend in beautiful Lake Louise. The week before Jadis + Simon’s Wedding I had the pleasure of photographing their beautiful engagement. I can honestly say, I have seen some beautiful weddings. Every wedding has so much care and thought put into the details of the day, but Jadis and Simon’s day was so different. Not only did Jadis plan her wedding from the UK where they reside, but she incorporated so many touching tributes, special ceremonies to honour her heritage and loved ones, and events in the week prior to the wedding for all of their guests!

There was much skiing and partying to be had, and they did not waste a minute of it! Every detail had a purpose. Faux furs lined the chairs outside, stunning centerpieces adorned the tables, monogrammed initials were delicately incorporated into gifts. The Post Hotel was transformed into a romantic winter camp. Every detail was planned and coordinated by Jadis with the assistance of One West Events, and Florals by Sarah Mayerson Design. It was truly a sight to see and I cannot wait to share the full wedding with you once it is complete! This was a truly cozy, romantic and touching wedding, and I was so honoured to capture it.
