Romantic Winter Engagement Session

I absolutely love to capture romantic winter engagements sessions since the snow makes the landscape so dreamy! It was about -25 on this day in Calgary, but this only aided in the cuddling and romance for Chelsey and Trevor! They are such a sweet couple. We had a fantastic time during their engagement session, and I can’t wait to capture their wedding this summer!

Here’s a little bit about their love story from Chelsey:

We met in July 2013 at a suprise birthday party! That night we chatted, attempted to two-step and exchanged numbers so we could set up a date. We went on our first date less than a week later! This first date was at Cibo where we ended up talking for hours while eating pizza and drinking wine.

We went on several dates after that, and by the end of August we were officially a couple! In June 2014, we took the next step and moved in together! I moved in with Trevor and his cat Carlos. Together we turned Trevor’s bachelor pad into a cozy home!

On November 14, 2015, I came home from a day of shopping to find Trevor cooking a delicious dinner, which included two of my favorite things – steak and shrimp! Trevor had also decorated the house with candles and flowers. He had a charcuterie plate and wine ready for us to enjoy as well. I suggested we play crib, so I got up to get the crib board. When I turned around Trevor was down on one knee with a ring box in his hand!! Of course I said YES! We celebrated with Prosecco and were so excited to share the news with their family and friends.
