Calgary Wedding Photographer Secret Garden
Do you remember the children’s book “The Secret Garden” by Frances Hodgson Burnett? This story was an all time favourite of mine. I am so connected to nature and absolutely love wedding photography, so I thought it would be interesting to combine the two of them together.
The mystery and wonder combined with love just seemed like an idea that would translate onto film really well. I am so glad I tried it! To date, this has been one of my most successful creative sessions. It still gives me butterflies to this day when I look at the images.
To me, it evokes everything love should be. Bright, beautiful, warm, mysterious. I hope when you look at these images you think about how the grass feels between your toes, the sun on your skin, how the flowers smell, and how your partner’s love emulates all of those things and fills your heart with joy!
