Banff Engagement Session

When I got the email last week from Gi asking if I was available for a quick engagement session in Banff, my eyes lit up! I love Moraine lake and Banff engagements and elopements! It was Heejae’s first time to Canada and I wanted to make sure they had an amazing, romantic experience in the Rocky Mountains. These two are so sweet and adorable together. Gi is an absolute gentleman with a great sense of humor which you can see Heejae absolutely adores. They both made my job really easy.

Here’s a little bit about Gi and Heejae!

Heejae & Gi both began their journeys in Seoul, Korea – a world away from Houston Texas.  Heejae at age 13, moved to California, USA to Study, and  Gi, also at age 13, moved to Harrogate, UK, (mainly to play football and eat fish & chips.)

Heejae later moved to Manhattan NY to study Chemical Engineering, and graduated with flying colors! Gi also graduated with flying colours, he claims, but didn’t like the gloomy weather so much, so he cleverly decided to move to Pittsburgh, PA for work. Heejae, being ridiculously pretty and smart, immediately got hired by Shell in Houston, TX where she was able to formulate awesome chemicals to save the world.  Gi, discovered that weather in Pittsburgh was exactly twelve times worse than England, so once again in his pursuit for everlasting sunshine, he cleverly moved to Houston to work at TMEIC as a Sales Engineer.

That’s where Gi found his everlasting Sunshine. Heejae and Gi started dating on April 4th, 2015. Apparently  it took many, many steaks and cheesecakes for Gi to convince Heejae that he was the one!

Six months later, at the Space needle in Seattle, Gi got down on one knee and popped the question to Heejae with a very shiny rock. Heejae liked the shiny rock, (and Gi) so she said YES!

On Saturday, September 17th 2016, Heejae & Gi are getting married in Ashton Gardens in Houston and cannot wait to celebrate their next big adventure.
