Calgary Winter Elopement Nicole Sarah

Winter elopement weddings in Calgary are so fun! If there has been one positive out of the pandemic, it has been all of the intimate elopements I’ve been able to capture. Marina and Blake were such a sweet couple. They braved the cold Calgary winter air for their wedding day. These two have been together for over a decade so their vows were super emotional and it was so wonderful to see them celebrate this moment.

We played in the snow for a while and had a blast. I think for my next winter wedding I’ll suggest my couple’s bring a flask to keep warm. Boy it gets cold here! An elopement in the winter is a wonderful way to have an intimate wedding and save your reception for the following year. This means that you’ll still be able to have a fantastic wedding with all of your guests after the pandemic is over. Elopements are truly magical as they allow couples to have privacy and be fully present in their wedding without the added stressors a traditional wedding can bring.
