Caramel Styled Wedding Fairmont Palliser
Recently, I had the pleasure of capturing a beautiful caramel styled wedding at the Fairmont Palliser. The True to Hue photography shootout was filled with thoughtful wedding details from Calgary’s most talented vendors. Nestled in the heart of Calgary, the Fairmont Palliser Hotel stands as a timeless beacon of elegance and sophistication. Additionally, I love it’s historic charm and opulent architecture. They provide the perfect backdrop for a wedding celebration.
The Setting
From the moment I stepped into the hotel’s grand lobby, I was transported to a world of refined beauty. The ornate details of the architecture, coupled with the warm hues of caramel and gold were beautiful. They set the stage for an unforgettable celebration of love. Additionally, every corner of the Fairmont Palliser exuded an air of timeless romance. This made the hotel the ideal setting for the True to Hue styled shootout.
The Styling
The bride was adorned in a breathtaking lace gown from the Bridal Boutique Calgary and glowed with elegance. Her beautiful hairstyle featured an ornate golden floral crown from Blair Nadeau bridal. The groom looked dashing in a classic green suit from Ed Williams Menswear. I loved how the suit meshed perfectly with the feel of the session. Stunning furniture and accents from Modern Rentals decorated the room and rounded out the style.
Lastly, the soft, natural light streaming through the windows was lovely. The warm and golden glow fit perfectly, so it was a beautiful addition. I also loved how this added an ethereal quality to each photograph.
The Session
Throughout the day, we explored the various spaces of the Fairmont Palliser, from the elegant ballroom with its crystal chandeliers to the charming outdoor terrace overlooking the city skyline. Each location offered its own unique charm, providing endless photo opportunities.
As I reflect on the day, I am reminded of the timeless beauty that permeates every corner of this historic landmark. It was a privilege to document such a beautiful photoshoot. I am grateful for the opportunity to showcase the talents of other wedding vendors at the historic Fairmont Palliser Hotel.
