Elegant Calgary Cocktail Wedding

I absolutely love intimate, elegant cocktail weddings in Calgary. We have some truly stunning Calgary wedding venues that are hidden gems! The nice part about cocktail weddings is that they allow couples to really soak in their day and be surrounded by those closest to them, without worrying about being overwhelmed at all.

Lyle and Dani held their gorgeous wedding ceremony at the Lantern Church, followed by a canape reception at Saltlik and then dinner at Rouge restaurant. One of my favorite parts of the day was the processional during the ceremony. The look on Lyle’s face when he saw Dani walking down the isle was absolutely beautiful. Lyle was totally awestruck and emotional, and the music helped bring everyone to tears. Dani stunned everyone in a gorgeous sequined gown from Pearl + Dot and vibrant florals from the talented Flowers by Janie. Her entrance truly stunned everyone in the pews. The family and friends who surrounded them filled the church with so much love and excitement that it was palpable! My favorite moment from their ceremony was when they took the time to hug and thank each family member in the front pew. It was so touching and special.

One of the things that stands out most for me about Lyle and Dani is how sweet and calming their presence can be and how together they simply light up a room. They met through mutual friends and it’s so amazing to hear how fate works to bring two people who are meant to be, together. Their day was really about family and friends, which is evident in their wedding party as both Lyle and Dani chose their best friends and siblings to stand by them on their big day.
