Flores and Pine Calgary Wedding Venue
Flores and Pine is a wedding venue in Calgary that is so lovely! As Calgary Wedding Photographers, we have recently captured a beautiful wedding there and would love to share more about this stunning venue and it’s highlights. Located in Bearspaw, just west of Calgary, the restaurant features three unique event spaces.
The Atrium
The Atrium is lush with modern architecture and design. It features an open concept layout. They bring the outdoors in with live trees and greenery, lending the space an organic and earthy feel that is still intimate and relaxed. The colour tones in the ambient lighting create a whimsical, ethereal forest-like atmosphere. Outdoors, guests are treated to a stunning wood-burning fireplace. This area is perfect for wedding ceremonies and outdoor receptions under twinkling lights.
From the Flores and Pine website:
“Who is Flores? Flores LaDue, ‘First Lady of the Calgary Stampede’, was the wife of Calgary Stampede founder Guy Weadick. An accomplished roper and performer, Flores’ vaudeville performances took her all over the world, including under the bright lights of the Broadway stage. Flores then settled in Alberta in 1912 and helped her husband jumpstart the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth, later retiring as the undefeated World Champion Lady Fancy Roper after 31 years of competing.”
The Estate Room
Additionally, the venue features a completely separate dining room that is crisp white with beautiful wainscotting and modern accents. Available for guests of 30 – 100, this room is truly your canvas when designing your wedding day. The elevated, chef-created menu is out of this world. As wedding photographers, we see a lot of plated meals. Their food is truly some of the best we have ever experienced in our careers.
Bridal Suite
A secluded and luxurious bridal suite is located on the upper level. It features comfortable seating arrangements, makeup and hair area, and private restroom. Getting ready at the venue creates an elevated experience.
