We love being Calgary engagement photographers! Ashley and Andrew are such a sweet couple and we instantly clicked over coffee. For their winter engagement session we decided to casually jaunt around in the woods, and thank goodness for the chinook we had! They were such troopers in the cold weather but I think they really enjoyed keeping each other warm (wink wink!) I am so excited to capture their upcoming wedding and can’t wait to share this little sneak peek of their engagement session with you! Read on to hear their love story!

When anyone asks how we met, we always tell them some crazy, elaborate story about how we met while we were both at work and fate brought us together. But in reality, we met on Tinder like so many other couples these days!

We decided to meet for coffee for our first date. We spent the next 4 hours sitting at the coffee shop chatting away. We had three more dates that week, we couldn’t get enough of each other. It didn’t take us long to figure out that we had something pretty special.

Skip ahead two years to Oct 20th, 2017, the day we got engaged. A day spent fishing down by the Bow River changed our lives forever. Ashley caught a fish and Andrew caught a wife.

We are in the midst of planning our wedding for this fall. We can’t wait to exchange vows in front of our family and friends and to see what new adventures lie ahead in life for us!
