Sarah and Laurence’s wedding at the Fairmont Palliser in Calgary, Alberta, was nothing short of magical. The couple exchanged vows on a perfect summer day. Clear skies and warm temperatures set the tone for a beautiful celebration.

The Fairmont Palliser’s Crystal Ballroom served as the ideal venue. Elegant chandeliers and high ceilings added to the grandeur of the space. Additionally, natural light filled the room, enhancing the romantic atmosphere. The ballroom’s classic beauty created the perfect backdrop for Sarah and Laurence’s vows.

For their wedding, Sarah and Laurence chose soft pastel tones. The colour palette included blush pink, lavender, and pale blue. These colours brought a light and airy feel to the event. Beautiful floral arrangements added a fresh touch throughout the space. Furthermore, the pastel hues reflected the couple’s elegant style. Each detail, from the bridesmaids’ dresses to the décor, was thoughtfully chosen.

The Wedding Day

Guests enjoyed a delicious buffet in the Crystal Ballroom. The spread included fresh salads, roasted meats, and decadent desserts. It was the best meal I have ever enjoyed at the Fairmont Palliser!  It was the perfect way to celebrate and relax with loved ones. The buffet also allowed guests to mingle, creating a laid-back yet festive atmosphere.

As the evening progressed, we stepped into the Hawthorne for some final photos. The setting was perfect for dramatic black-and-white flash shots. Additionally, this time allThe contrast between the pastel tones and the bold flash images added a striking visual touch. Sarah and Laurence’s joy and love were beautifully captured in every frame. These photos provided the couple with timeless memories.
