Modern Fonda Fora Calgary Engagement

This modern engagement session at Fonda Fora in Calgary was so much fun to capture! Holly and Matthew are a lovely couple and our team had an amazing time with them. Holly’s dress was a stunning short ensemble from Ethos bridal in Calgary. We opted for a short evening dress for Holly with a beautifully long ribbon bow. This gave a sophisticated, modern feel. I loved how it flowed during the session. This created a really great feel. Additionally, I loved that Matthew complimented the look and feel of our Calgary engagement session with a handsome, custom fitted suit.

Promenade

We chose promenade parkade rooftop for the beginning of the engagement session. The sun shone beautifully through all of the buildings, highlighting the city scape. Calgary Tower rose in the background which looked so romantic. I loved how their engagement session gave a real “Sex and the City” vibe.

Being playful with our couples is something we love, as it allows for a really relaxed experience. Additionally, being relaxed aides in creating candid, authentic images. Getting to know our couples in order to feel relaxed and confident on their wedding day is so important.

Fonda Fora

As the sun set over Calgary, we transitioned over to Fonda Fora to relax and have a cocktail. This gave us such amazing flash-lit photos for a really moody and fun vibe! The aesthetic of the bar meshed perfectly with their outfits and mood for the engagement session. Fonda Fora gives a modern feel with some old world touches, such as their gorgeous plaster walls.

We had so much fun together and we can’t wait to be their Calgary wedding photographers this fall!
