Romantic Summer Engagement

I had such an amazing time with Linda + Boris for their romantic summer engagement! These two are fabulous and we had an absolute ball from the best physicist joke ever – to even tempting fate with some poison ivy (yikes!). My favorite part of a session is when a couple starts to get really relaxed and focused on each other and how special this time is. They started dancing and singing Frank Sinatra to each other which made my heart completely melt. I know their wedding is going to be so beautiful and romantic. We are honoured to be their Calgary wedding photographers.

 

Here’s a little about their story below:

 

Long before our first kiss, we were friends wandering through campus, musing about science and philosophy, and helping each other grow through facing life’s challenges. Somewhere along the way, a spark made us realize how perfect we were for each other, and we’ve never looked back since. We went away to finish our schooling. Although the distance has not been easy, we have been by each other’s side the whole way – and it only reaffirmed how special we were to each other.

We took an impromptu (or so I thought) trip to Toronto and took a nostalgia walk by the lake where we had many memories. We snacked on some pringles (the food of true love), looked out at the lake, and he popped the question. Of course I said yes!

We are planning a small wedding and looking forward to sharing the day with our closest family and friends from all the cities we’ve called home!
