Amanda + James – Canmore Mountain Wedding

Amanda and James were married in the Rocky Mountains in Canmore Alberta. I love being a Canmore and Calgary wedding photographer because of weddings like this!!

Surrounded by their closest family + friends they said their “I dos” with the stunning three sisters peaks behind them. They are such a fun and gracious couple who were up for anything, including my request to have them run directly into a thunderstorm with arc lightening!

The smoky mountains and imposing thunderstorm near the end of their session lent to a really moody and fun look that you’ll see below. It was an absolutely gorgeous day surrounded by love. I have never seen a room so full of laughter, tears and love. I really enjoyed getting to know them both. My favourite part of the day had to be their Thank You speech as it was the culmination of everything a wedding should be about – family and friends – and how they are the backbone to our relationships. Getting to celebrate love with the people who have nurtured and supported you throughout your lives and on your journey together as a couple is what it’s all about!
