Urban Calgary Engagement Session
This urban Calgary engagement session was such a blast for our team to capture. Read about the couple below.
From the Couple:
We first met when he moved to Calgary in 2011, and then became better acquainted while we were both working at Wendy’s during the summer of 2012. He went back to school after a few months and we didn’t really hang out for a few years – until around 2018. We became closer during this time and started our relationship mid 2019.
The 2020 pandemic was a tough time for us, like it was for a lot of people. We had to cancel travel plans to Japan but were finally able to go early 2023. He proposed on the last day of our trip, early in the morning after we had just finished packing and were in a rush to get to the airport.
Here we are now – stressed out planning our wedding for August 31st, but happy and faithful that it will all be worth it. The ceremony will be at St. Mary’s Cathedral and the reception will be at the Wainwright Hotel at Heritage Park. It’s going to be a relatively small wedding with just our family, close friends, and some relatives coming from outside of Calgary.
