YYC Local – 27 Boutique

 

YYC Local is an idea that was born out of a desire to increase awareness of our city’s vast array of talented, passionate and hardworking small business owners. By shopping local we not only support people and their businesses or craft, but the people and families who run them.

Shopping local also ensures that you are promoting innovation, local prosperity and community uniqueness!

In my first post, I am going to talk about  27 Boutique located on 17th Ave SW.

A little bit about 27 Boutique from owner, Kelly Schneider:

“Twentyseven opened in 2012 to cater to the hardworking and gorgeous girls of this city -The girls who demand personal service and a handpicked selection of the best brands, new trends and high quality basics . The space is so grand and glamorous, it really feels like shopping in a gorgeous closet – assisted by your best friends. We’re honest, we’re fun, and there’s nothing in here that we wouldn’t buy ourselves.”

Walking into the space felt like being in a beautiful gallery of all of my favorite designs. All of the pieces effortlessly coordinate together, you can truly build a gorgeous wardrobe with ease. The best part of my visit, was the store’s tiniest associate, Finn ( who makes a cute appearance at the end of the set!).

Some of the wears the boutique carries include: Vero Moda, Coal and Canary, Coutu & Kitsch, Cinder & Sage, Chinese Laundry, Kersh, Dex, ONLY
